JOHN HARMON ALLDRITT, 98
TULSA--John Harmon Alldritt, age 98, passed away on April 21, 2018 at BellaRose assisted Living, Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born in Lincoln, Nebraska on dec. 25, 1919 to Dr Earl C and Millie Ruth Alldritt. He married Evelyn Louise Johnson at Central Christian Church on Jan. 15, 1943. 
He was predeceased by his wife, Evelyn, on Jan. 1, 2018, his daughter Susan Basore, brother Don Alldritt and sisters, Mary Alldritt and LuJean Jaderholm.
He is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Goodgion (Larry), Celeste Lee (Jim), son-in-law Richard Basore, and his sister Ann McCarty. There are 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. 
John lived in Wichita most of his life, and he and his father were charter members of the Wichita Homing Pigeons Club. He served in WWII as a Sgt T-3 cryptographer registered in the 837th Signal Battalion where he handled secret messages for the South Atlantic. After the war he resumed his career at Cessna Aircraft. Later he began his business, The Shirt Salon, on Douglas and raised Hereford cattle in southeast Kansas. He also became a 32nd degree Mason.
In the late 1960s John and Evelyn moved to Halstead, where he was the purchasing director at the Halstead Hospital. 
A visitation was held at Kaufman Funeral Home in Halstead from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday, April 25 followed by a military graveside service at 11 at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Bentley.
