Man dies following motorcycle accident

A Newton man involved in a motorcyle accident Wednesday died Friday at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. Timothy Mesecher, 45, was thrown from his motorcycle during an accident about 2:30 p.m. Wednesday as he was westbound on Connector Road from Spencer Road, said Lt. Eric Murphy of the Newton Police Department. The motorcycle lost control, went into a ditch, struck a reflector post and flipped several times. Services are pending with Petersen Funeral Home in Newton.
