Thomas Dwight Klaassen

Thomas Dwight Klaassen, 55, of Whitewater passed away Thursday (May 8, 2008) at Newton Medical Center.

He was born Jan. 29, 1953, in Newton to Theodore and Talma (Newton) Klaassen.

On Aug. 15, 1975, he married Linda Kimble in Inman. She survives of the home.

He was a graduate of Kansas State University and was a member of AGR fraternity. He was a farmer and stockman. He was a member of the Federated Church in Whitewater.

He also is survived by his mother; sons, Kourt and Tracy Klaassen, Derek and Stacee Klaassen and Brent Klaassen, all of Whitewater; a brother, Michael Klaassen of Valley Center; and three grandchildren, Dylan, Drew and Kole.

He was preceded in death by his father, and a brother, Matthew.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Lamb Funeral Home in Whitewater.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Federated Church in Whitewater with Pastor David Griffis officiating.

Burial will be in the Brainerd Cemetery.
