Turman
SPRINGFIELD,
Mo. - Jack R. Turman, 81, of Springfield, Mo., formerly of Newton, passed away
Monday (Feb. 18, 2008).
He was
general manager of the Newton Chamber of Commerce from 1952 until 1956.
He married
Betty Toevs in 1953.
He was
general manager of Guerdon Industries when the family moved in 1966.
He is
survived by his wife, Betty; two daughters, Malinda Reagan and husband, Mike,
and Ellen Duncan, all of Springfield; two sons, Michael B. Turman and wife,
Jenera, of Kearney, Neb., and Robert H. Turman and wife, Carol, of Crofton,
Md.; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and brother, Tom W. Turman and
wife, Pat, of San Diego.
Memorial
service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Christ Church Unity in Springfield.
