Joni Buss-Ewert
Joni Buss-Ewert, 51, passed away Sunday (Jan. 6, 2008) at
Via Christi Regional Medical Center-St. Francis campus in Wichita.
She was born Oct. 16, 1956, in Newton to Glenda Ann
(Tuxhorn) and Beverly "B.K." Buss. They preceded her in death.
She was a very caring individual, always looking after her
friends and family. Joni loved spending time with her grandchildren and will be
missed greatly by her family and friends.
Survivors include two daughters, Michelle Ewert and Megan
(Ewert) Smith, both of Newton; three brothers, Michael Buss of Newton, Patrick
Buss and wife, Jenny, of Topeka and Brian Buss and wife, Katrina, of Valley
Center; four grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may sign the book from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday at
Broadway Colonial Funeral Home Chapel in Newton.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist
Church in Newton with Patrick Buss officiating.
A private family inurnment will be later.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to
the Joni Ewert Memorial Fund for patients of Fresenius Dialysis Center of
Newton in care of the funeral home.
