Obituary
Carol Ann Coleman-Singh, 73, passed
away Sunday (Sept. 16, 2018) at her home in Newton. She was born Jan.
16, 1945, in Newton, the daughter of Lester and Anna May Stamm.
Carol spent a lifetime helping others,
locally and in surrounding communities, with a career in social
services.
On Dec. 8, 2009, she married Bill
Ebenstein in Newton; he survives of the home.
Other survivors include a son, Ahmee
Singh of Newton; a daughter, Pamela Bell of Topeka; five
grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She is preceded in
death by a son, Kashmir; and a granddaughter, Violet.
A memorial service is scheduled for 2
p.m. Thursday (Sept. 20, 2018) at Petersen Funeral Home, with private
burial at a later time.
Memorials have been established with
Caring Hands Humane Society and Harvey County Big Brothers Big
Sisters in care of the funeral home. Petersen Funeral Home is in
