Roberta Bitikofer
HESSTON - Roberta Bitikofer, 86, died Sunday (June 3, 2007)
at Schowalter Villa in Hesston. She was born on Aug 15, 1920, in Peabody to
Harry and Edna (Beck) Selzer. On Oct. 10, 1940, she married Allen Bitikofer in
Canton. She was a homemaker and a member of the Spring Valley Mennonite Church.
Survivors include her husband, daughters, Joan and Myron Yoder of West Liberty,
Ohio; Sonia and Ray Tucker of Kimberling City. Mo.; and Marlys and Dan Becker
of Canton; sisters, Ruby
Ressler of Alberta, Canada; Doris Bitikofer of Canton; and
Gladys Yoder of Harrisonburg, Va.; six grandchildren; and 14
great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by sisters, Kathryn Shank; Violet
Selzer; and Arletta Becker.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Miller Funeral
Home in Hesston with family present from 6 to 8 p.m.
Service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Spring Valley
Mennonite Church in rural Canton with Pastor Bruce Anthony officiating. Burial
will be at Spring Valley Mennonite Church Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Mennonite Disaster Service in care
of the funeral home.
