Judith A. Cox
Judith A. Cox, 65, died
Saturday (May 13, 2006) at her residence in Newton.
She was born March 1, 1941,
to Henry and Elizabeth (Chappell) Toevs in Newton. They preceded her in death.
Judith was proud to work and
retire at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Wichita after 20 years. She
was a Kansas State University Wildcat fanatic and exhibited pride in being a
Wildcat football and basketball fan.
She loved to play cards,
especially with her bridge club.
She will be missed by her
family and friends.
Survivors include: sons,
Chris Cox of Thibodaux, La., and Jeff Cox of Hutchinson; brothers, Donald Toevs
of Kansas City, Kan., Bruce Toevs of Boise, Idaho, and Horace Toevs; sisters,
Roberta Swinehart of Norwich and Betty Turman of Springfield, Mo.; and
grandchildren, Kristen, Erik, Katelyn and Brendan Cox of Thibodaux.
She also was preceded in
death by a sister, Marcella Throne.
Memorial services are pending
for a future date.
Memorials have been
established with the Judith A. Cox Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
