He was born Dec. 20, 1913, in
Seward County, Neb.
Survivors include his wife,
Teresa Burkey of Hesston; daughters, Lillian Jean and Jerome Laurinec of
Littleton, Colo., Margaret Ann and Delvin Martin of Glendale, Ariz., and Bonnie
June Simons of Sun City, Ariz.; brother, Marlin Burkey of Seward, Neb.,
sisters, Alda Swartzendruber of Kolona, Iowa, Loretta Wolfer of Milford, Neb.,
and Arla Leann Miller of York, Neb.; seven grandchildren; and 10
great-grandchildren.
