Robert Alkire
Robert Alkire, 75, retired employee of
City of Florence maintenance department, died May 4 at Newton Medical
Center.
The service was held May 8 at the
Christian Church of Florence with Roger Scantlin officiating.
He was born Sept. 14, 1931, to Ambrose
and Eva Coffman Alkire in Stella, Neb.
He is survived by two sons, William of
Washington State and Kenny of Stillwater, Okla.; two daughters,
Sheila Thouvenell of Marion and Elizabeth Crow of Stillwater; and
eight grandchildren.
