Ida Evelyn Sinclair

Ida Evelyn (Walton) Sinclair, 96, passed away Wednesday (June 6, 2007).

She was born on Aug. 6, 1910, in Newton to Fred and Dot Walton. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, active in her church and an avid knitter. She was kind and loving to everyone she met and never knew a stranger. Her wonderful smile and charm will be missed.

Survivors include daughter, Mary Ellen and George Kelly of Fairfield Bay, Ark.; grandchildren, Kristin L. and husband Christopher Buford of Spring, Texas, and Michael G. and wife Megan Adamson of Olathe; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Sinclair and infant son, James Joseph Sinclair.

Funeral mass was at 10 a.m. today at Church of the Resurrection in Bel Aire. Burial was at Calvary Cemetery in Wichita.

Memorials may be made to Catholic Care Center and Church of the Resurrection in care of Downing & Lahey Mortuary East in Wichita.
