Pauline Carol (Partin) Jay, (83), of Newton, KS, passed away after a lifelong struggle with Multiple Sclerosis. Pauline was born in Stafford, KS to Gillis and Ernestine Partin on October 6, 1937. She lived and went to school in Stafford, KS. Pauline married Tommy L. Jay and they had six children. She was a loving and caring mother and wife.

She suffered for many years with MS but through it all she remained happy and rarely complained, leaving her family with the belief that they can get through anything that life throws at you!

Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, Gillis and Ernestine Partin; husband, Tommy L. Jay; sisters, Janey Osborn of Stafford, KS and Lorene Pruner of Augusta, KS; and grandson, TJ Hernandez.

She is survived by her six children, Carol (Dick) Chance, Patricia (Thomas) Beason, Jeanette (Robert) Sanchez, Tommy D Jay, Terri Jay and Julie (Arlo) Becker; grandchildren, Shalan Becker, Amber (Drew) Ratzlaff, Larissa (Jason) Schmidt, Teresa Snell, Marti Bell, Shayla Beason, Crystal (Orlando) Vela, Danny Sanchez, Tawny Jay, Corey Jay and Tanya Edwards; 30 great grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter; along with many loving nieces and nephews. Pauline lived to enjoy five generations of family.

A private immediate family only service will take place at Resthaven Mortuary with a Celebration of Pauline's life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Kansas Christian Home, 1035 SE 3rd Street, Newton, KS 67114.

Pauline came to live at Kansas Christian Home on February 2, 1984 and passed on February 2, 2021. The family of Pauline wishes to extend their sincere thanks to Kansas Christian Home and all their staff who cared for her for 37 years.
