Joyce Keller
EL DORADO - Joyce Keller, 74, died Friday (Oct. 21, 2005) at
Lakepoint Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in El Dorado. She was born Aug.
9, 1931, in Eureka to Jesse and Denzil (Tannehill) Wilson. She was a homemaker.
She married Richard D. Keller on July 17, 1972, in Newton. Her hobbies were
gardening and cooking. Her real passion was for dancing, and she would dance
whenever the opportunity was there. She had a big heart and always put others
before herself. She was loved by
many and will be missed by all those who knew her. While
living on the farm with Richard, she enjoyed taking care of their cattle herd
and helping in every way she could.
Survivors include: her husband, Richard D. Keller, of El
Dorado; a son, Rodney Walford; three stepsons, Michael D. Keller, Stephen P.
Keller and Richard "Rick" M. Keller; a brother, Zane Wilson; two
sisters, June Martin and Darlene Sanders; five grandchildren; and four
great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Greenwood
Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Anderson officiating.
Memorials have been established with Alzheimer's Association
in care of Broadway Colonial Funeral Home.
