Elyse Anderson

Elyse Anderson, 7, first-grader at Northridge Elementary School, died Friday (Sept. 16, 2005) at her residence in Newton. She was born Nov. 15, 1997, to Greg and Lori (Haxton) Anderson in Houston. They survive of Newton. Other survivors include: twin sister, Kristy Anderson of Newton; grandparents, Duane and Barb Haxton of Newton and Don and Dorene Anderson of Lindsborg; sisters, Laci Anderson, Kayla Anderson, Lauren Anderson, Nikki Anderson, Jacque Anderson and Kalli Anderson, Lauren Anderson, Nikki Anderson, Jacque Anderson and Kalli Anderson, all of Newton; brothers, Levi Anderson, Jacob Anderson, Justin Anderson, Gage Anderson and Caleb Anderson, all of Newton; and great-grandparents, Louise Haxton and Mildred Meyeres, both of Little River, and Harry and Henrietta Dirks of Lindsborg.

Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Thursday with family greeting friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at Petersen Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday at St. Matthews Episcopal Church with the Rev. Mike Bernard officiating.

Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.

Memorials have been established with HCA Wesley Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, Northridge Elementary School: Special Education Department and St. Matthew's Episcopal Church: Children's Ministries, all in care of the funeral home.
