Wayne David King
Hesston - Wayne David King, 90, of
Hesston, Kansas, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother,
uncle, and friend, passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2021.
He was born September 6, 1931, in
Harper, Kansas, to Henry J. and Anna L. (Hartzler) King.
Wayne married Clara Mast on July 2,
1954, in Arthur, Illinois.
He was a retired pastor, serving
Mennonite congregations in Illinois, Ohio, and New York.
He is survived by his wife, Clara King
of Hesston; daughter, Carol Erion and her husband Donald of Old
Monroe, Missouri; son, Gordon King and his wife, Christine of
Brunswick, Ohio; son, Ronald King of Mesa, Arizona; daughter, Lynne
Smith and her husband Bradley of Gilbert Arizona; 11 grandchildren;
and 13 great-grandchildren.
Cremation is planned. A Celebration of
Life Service will be announced and held at a later date. Private
family inurnment will take place at Eastlawn Cemetery, Zimmerdale,
KS. Memorials may be made to Schowalter Villa, Good Samaritan Fund
and sent to Miller-Ott Funeral Home, P.O. Box 32, Hesston, KS. 67062.
