Jeanne Carol Lukenbach, 58, passed away
November 12, 2021, in Newton, Kansas.
She was born September 13, 1963, in
Hutchinson, Kansas, the daughter of Charles and Mary (McGaha) Ryan.
She attended high school in Ulysses, Kansas, graduating with the
class of 1981. Following high school Jeanne attended Word of Life
Worship College.
On July 27, 1982, Jeanne was united in
marriage to her soulmate, Dean Lukenbach. They celebrated their 39th
wedding anniversary this year.
Jeanne was a talented artist, musician,
singer, painter, crafter, quilter, chef, and writer.
Jeanne was friendly and outgoing, she
never met a stranger. A sweet person, she was very giving and always
willing to help others. Jeanne was open and loving towards her
friends and brought so much joy with her child-like zest for life.
A wonderful wife, mother, grandmother,
sister, and all around wonderful lady, Jeanne will be deeply missed.
Jeanne is survived by her soulmate,
Dean Lukenbach; children, April (Casey) Harmon, Alex (Brittney)
Lukenbach, and Laurel (Steven) Storm; 10 grandchildren; brother,
Steve Ryan; and sisters, Nancy and Dianna.
She was preceded in death by her
parents, Charles and Mary Ryan; brother, Charles Virgil Ryan Jr.; and
sister, Patricia.
A visitation will be from 5PM to 9PM,
Thursday, November 18th, 2021, at Petersen Funeral Home in Newton,
Kansas. A funeral service will be at 10AM, Friday, November 19, 2021,
at the funeral home, with graveside services to follow at Hillside
Cemetery in Sedgwick, Kansas.
