Della F. Unruh, 93, died March 3, 2022 at Moundridge Manor, Moundridge, Kansas.
She was born Nov. 4, 1928 on the family farm outside of Burrton to Peter T. and Viola (Dirks) Koehn. On June 4, 1950 she married Joe Allen Unruh at Newton. He preceded her in death, Sept. 28, 2010. She retired as a night custodian for USD-440 and was also a homemaker. She was a member of Grace Mennonite Church, Halstead.
Survivors include sons: Roy (Patricia) Unruh and Marlin (Raeletta) Unruh, all of Halstead; daughters: Barbara Ellen, Tucson, Arizona; Rochelle (Doyle) Becker, Pryor, Oklahoma; sister: Erma Decker, Moundridge; 14 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son Verlin Unruh and her twin sister, Donna Decker.
Her viewing will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, March 6, 2022 at Kaufman Funeral Home and visitation will be 6:30-8:00 p.m. at Grace Mennonite Church, Halstead. Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 7, 2022 at Grace Mennonite Church, Halstead. Interment will follow at Halstead Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Moundridge Manor or Good Shepherd Hospice in care of Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead.
