Richard L. "Rik" Clark, 74 of Canton died March 16, 2022 at Kansas Christian Home, Newton. He had been a resident of Canton for over 20 years and spent most of his working career in law enforcement.
He was born July 11, 1947 in Denver,, Colorado, the son of Ray E. and Gwendolyn Faye (Minner) Clark. Rik served his country in the U.S. Navy, receiving his honorable discharge in 1970. On October 16, 1987 he was united in marriage to Karen Wheeler in Arapahoe County, Colorado and she survives.
Other survivors include their daughter, Katherine Clark of Maine; two sons, Nathan (Marina) Clark of Germany and Samuel (Caitlyn) Clark of Maine; a brother, Ralph Clark, Wichita; three sisters, Randi (Keith) Miwa, Denver, CO. Roxann Clark and Rae Lisa Petitjean, both of Yukon, OK. and four grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place. A family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. A memorial, in lieu of flowers has been established with the Canton EMS, in care of Olson's Mortuary, Canton.
