HALSTEAD?Ruby Elaine Buller, 91,
passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at her residence in Halstead.
On Aug. 18, 1930 she was born in Garfield, Kansas to Ray and Pearl
(Bingamon) Duncan.
She was a member of First Mennonite
Church, where she had served as Treasurer, sang in the choir,
participated in the quilting group, and served on various committees.
She was also a member of Helianthus Juniors. She volunteered at the
Newton Et Cetera Shop for many years. She was a longtime bookkeeper
and administrative assistant for E & V Motors, Halstead. She was
an expert seamstress.
She married Irvin Buller on Dec. 23,
1951 at Kinsley, Kansas. He preceded her in death on June 3, 2000.
She is survived by daughters Melonie
(Charles Wilson) Buller, Columbus, Ohio; Diana (George Torres) Buller
Torres, Halstead; four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her
brothers Floyd, Vaughn and Vern Duncan and her sister Sylvia
Snodgrass.
Viewing will be 2-8 p.m. with
visitation from 6:30-8 p.m., Thursday, July 28, 2022 at Kaufman
Funeral Home, Halstead. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, July
29, 2022, at First Mennonite Church, Halstead, with Pastor Stephen
Wilcox officiating. Burial will follow at Halstead Cemetery,
Halstead, Kansas.
Memorials may be given to Mennonite
Central Committee for sewing kits in care of Kaufman Funeral Home,
Halstead.
