Diane Branning 60 died October 30,
2022, at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City,
Kansas. She was Born August 11, 1962, in Wellington, Kansas to
Darrell and Shirley (Bradt) Branning. On September 19th she
celebrated 41 years with her life partner Patty Kreier.
She graduated from Wellington High
School, Fort Hay State University with a degree in Psychology and
minor in Business, and The University of Kansas with a master?s
degree in Social Work.
Following College she worked at Prairie
View, Youthville and Eldorado Correctional Facility. She loved
working varying jobs and the people she worked with.
Diane was co-owner of The Station House
Restaurant in Walton, Kansas, and Kansas Photobooths. She enjoyed
photography, spending time with her family and friends and making
people laugh and reading a good novel.
Diane is survived by her partner Patty;
five sons Donald Brown (Elizabeth Furness); Walter (Amanda) Stagner;
Chad Kreier-Branning; Tyler Kreier-Branning; TJ (Meagan) Branning and
daughters Hollie Kreier-Branning and Ashley Kreier-Branning. She is
also survived by ten grandchildren and four brothers; Darrell
Branning Jr; Terry (Pam) Branning; Kenny (Lori) Branning and Ricky
Branning and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her
parents. Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 8, 2022
at Petersen Funeral Home Chapel with The Reverend Donna Voteau
presiding. Visitiaton will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday with the family
receiving friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Graveside committal service will be 2:30 p.m. Tuesday November 8,
2022 at Sumner Memorial Gardens in Wellington, Kansas.
Memorials may be made to the Diane
Branning Memorial Fund to offset expenses and left with Petersen
Funeral Home or Walton State Bank.
