NEWTON, -- Ernest A. Berry, 89, Berry Petroleum Drillers and Producers owner, died Saturday, May 7, 1988. Services, 10 a. m. Wednesday, Firs Presbyterian Church, Newton. 2 p. m. Wednesday, Mission Center Cemetery, Topeka. Survivors: wife, Marion; sons, J. David of Wichita, Gerald of Topeka; daughter, Bernice Hanson of Lindsborg; stepsons, Max Schroeder of Boulder, Colo., Jay Schroeder of Danville, Calif.; step- daughter, Janet Myers, of Augusta; five grandchildren. Memorials have been established with First United Presbyterian Church and the American Cancer Society. Draper-Cannon Funeral Home.
