HESSTON?Dean Herman Streck, 96, of Hesston, Kansas, died March 24, 2025.
He was born on May 5, 1928, in Galatia, Kansas, to Philip and Vera (Steinert) Streck and was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Galatia, Kansas.
He graduated from Hoisington High School, St. John?s College, Winfield, Kansas, and Wichita State University. He was a U.S. Army Korean veteran, serving from 1950-52.
On April 29, 1955, he married Betty C. Salley. He was employed by Thies Packing in Great Bend and Wichita.
He is survived by his wife, Betty; daughter, Sally (Dave) Armstrong; son, Steve (Joan) Streck; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Leonard.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 29, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Galatia, Kansas. Interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery, Galatia, Kansas.
Services are conducted by Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home, Hoisington, Kansas.
