Chad W. Schuessler, 49, died Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at his home.
He was born Dec. 12, 1975, in Wichita, Kansas, to Alvin Max and Velma (Reimer) Schuessler.
On June 4, 2016, he married Wendy Stone at Sedgwick, and she survives of the home. Chad was a farmer and drove bus for Village Charters in Wichita. He attended Sedgwick Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Wendy of the home; brother, Marc (Debra) Schuessler; and niece and nephews, Rachel, Matthew and Nathan. He was preceded in death by his parents and nephew, Jonathan.
Funeral service was at 10 a.m. Monday, June 2, at Sedgwick Christian Church, with Pastor Doug Ingmire presiding. Visitation was from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Petersen Funeral Home in Newton. Burial followed in the Hillside Cemetery in Sedgwick, Kansas.
