Jeffrey Dean Frazell, 60, died Sunday, February 1, 2026, at Wichita.
He was born on April 18, 1965, in Salina, KS to Gerald E. and Lorene M. (Small) Frazell.
He was a 1983 graduate of Halstead High School and attended Salina Vo-Tech.
He was a professional photographer. He did portrait photography, but his passion was sports, covering high school and college sports, he was a fixture at Halstead athletic activities and
for many years has been specializing in rodeo photography for the Kansas High School Rodeo Association.
He was a member of First United Church, Halstead, and was a Boot Hill Gunfighter.
He was also an accomplished bowler, rolling four perfect 300 games.
He is survived by his children, Jeffery Alan Frazell, Wichita, Autumn Nichole Frazell, Newton; Kylee Jean Frazell, Salida, CO; Tianna Marie Frazell, Wichita; grandchildren: Levi Frazell,
Lily Hauck, Ronan Thompson, Kyrie Scheer, Olive McMullin and Zayden Frazell.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Stephanie Danielle and a grandson, Lucas Hauck.
Cremation has taken place.
A memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, February 12, 2026, at First United Methodist Church, Halstead with Pastor Cynthia Smart officiating.
Inurnment will be in Halstead Cemetery, Halstead, KS.
