Judy K (Rindt) Christianson

Judy Christianson, 47, secretary for J.C. Diesel in Hesston, died Sunday (April 23, 2000) at her residence in Hesston.

She was born July 9, 1952, in Herington to Harold Henry and Leona Kathryn (Stover) Rindt. She married Jim Christianson June 19, 1977, in Newton. He survives of Hesston.

She was a member of Hesston United Methodist Church. She formerly worked for Hesston School District as a bus driver and for dentist Adams and Krasne. She also worked for McPherson Country Club and was church secretary for Hesston United Methodist Church.

Other survivors include: three sons, Toby Koontz of Hesston and Tracy Christianson and Steve Christianson, both of Newton; two daughters, Angela Rempel of Hesston and Tammy Paxson of Newton; one brother, Harold Rindt Jr. of Las Vegas; two sisters, Gerry Adkins of Wellington and Cindy Junglen of St. Cloud, Minn.; and 14 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Ronald Rindt.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Hesston United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ron Rich officiating. Burial will be in the Hesston City Cemetery.

Friends may call until 9 p.m. today with family greeting friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. today at Petersen Funeral Home.

Memorials have been established with Central Homecare and Hospice, American Cancer Society and Hesston United Methodist Church in care of the funeral home.
