The city’s last vehicular fatality also involved a small girl, Rajondea I. Koerperich, 23 months, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul & Diana Korperich of 331 E. 2nd. The accident occurred in the 100 block of North Walnut June 8, 1982, when the child reportedly stepped out in the street and was hit by a vehicle driven by a man from rural Burns.
