Murder in Harvey County, Kansas
FAMILY & “LOVERS” QUARRELS
Several murders in Harvey County have occurred within families. Unrequited love has also been a recurring theme, as has domestic abuse, and 2 men even killed their entire family. In some cases love triangles were motivators.
Relationships within the family are the most sacred of covenants that can be entered into. Voluntary self-sacrificing love between husbands, wives, and their children – “until death do us part” should always mean a commitment to another person that lasts through “sickness and health, for richer or poorer, cleaving only to each other.” Far too often, man chooses a self-serving path of divorce when seeking greener pastures for themselves, but some spouses pursue an even more hostile, violent end to their relationship.
This page is dedicated to the memory of those who were murdered due to “lover’s quarrels” and adulterous relationships n Harvey County.
