The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office has identified a man killed in a motorcycle crash near Valley Center on Tuesday as 30-year-old Jamison Bonham, of Newton. The sheriff’s office says its preliminary investigation indicates Jamison was riding north on Broadway and the truck towing a trailer was traveling east on 101st St. North. The truck and trailer entered the intersection and the motorcycle struck the trailer. The circumstances of the accident are still being investigated, at the conclusion of the investigation the case will be submitted to the District Attorney’s Office for review. The sheriff’s office says in the crash reported about 1:30 p.m., someone called 911 to report a motorcycle had hit their vehicle near 101st Street North and Broadway. Jamison Daniel Bonham, 30, died Tuesday, July 25, 2018. He was born on April 26, 1988, in Wichita to Daniel and Sherry (Basore) Bonham. He was married to Danielle Curiel on March 27, 2009, in Wichita. They were married for nine years prior to his death. Jamison enjoyed automobiles – Dodge Challengers and motorcycles. He was a gamer and enjoyed playing on his Xbox. He was very good with technology and helped many fix and understand their devices. He was employed by AGCO and was affiliated with the Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Danielle; mother and stepfather, Sherry and Gary Harder; grandparents, Carolyn and Ron Doyle; sister, Alexis and Tyler Frost; mother-in-law, Athena Curiel; father-in-law, Robert and Sarah Curiel; brother-in-law, Lucas Curiel; aunt, Susan and Jerome Garofolo; cousins, Mark and Doni; and special friends, Lee and Chase. He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Bonham; uncles, Steve Basore and Kevin Almond; and grandparents: Donald Basore, and Bill and Elsie Bonham.
